NEW CEMETERY

A meeting to consider this question was held in the church Sunday school room, on Thursday evening last week the vicar the Rev J.G. Wood, presiding, a letter was read from Doncaster sanitary authority representing the necessity of a new burial ground, and several subtitle sites where mentioned – the three acres near the board schools, and a second “|March croft” on the same side of the village was considered two of the most suitable.

The chairman was directed to write to the landowners and ask on what terms of the sites could be conveyed to the parish
