Not More Than 50 in Each Department

Conisborough District Education Committee last night decided to circularise all the parents the area with view to the adoption of a skeleton scheme for the reopening of schools at Conisborough, Denaby and Old Denaby, until such time adequate trenches and shelters are provided at the schools.

It was explained that the scheme provided that various departments should reopened with maximum attendance of not more than 50 children in each department on any one day and that It was not intended that the 50 children should In one body, but that there should classes of not more than 10 scholars each.

Mr B. Stockdale. Clerk, stated that the onus of whether they wanted their children in school would entirely on the parents.
