Conisborough Wesleyan Sunday Schools.

Yesterday, under the auspices of the Wesleyans of Conisborough, a public tea was held the schools.

It was partaken of by a large number, and the after proceedings were presided over by Mr. J. Blyth, a cantata entitled ” The Coming of Immanuel,” was rendered by a choir 30 voices, and included solos, duets, quartettes, choruses, and recitations.

Mr. H. J. Sharp made an efficient organist, and Mr. J. K. Bateson conducted. Addresses were given by the circuit ministers and other friends.

The proceeds will be devoted to the funds of the Sunday schools.
