Conisbro’ Parish Church Annual Tea

The annual tea took place on Tuesday evening and was followed by an entertainment, over which the Vicar presided.

He spoke of the parochial work which had been done during the year, and asked for further support in connection with the church and school.

He regretted that there had been an exceptionally heavy death rate and hoped that the result of the wintry weather would be that the epidemics would disappear.

Incidentally alluding to the death of the Archbishop, he said a great and good man had passed away, but be should be glad to see one appointed who could devote more time to the churches in the diocese.
