A well-known personality in Denaby Main was Private Peter Cusack, whose wife lives in Strafforth Terrace, Denaby Main, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cusack, of 18, Wheatley Street, Denaby Main.
Peter was well known through the milk business he once assisted in with his brothers, and through his football association in the locality.
At the time of his enlistment he was steward of St. Alban´s Club. Mrs. Cusack is carrying on the work of her husband during his absence.
