At Denaby for the benefit of A Smith, the groundsman.

A feature of the game was a score of 107 not out made by E Peate, son of the old Yorkshire player.

Mainly through his batting and the bowling of a Robinson (five for 39), and E Bromfield (three for 18) Denaby won easily.
