No Individual Century
On the whole Denaby’s Yorkshire Council side has not had such a good season, especially from the batsman’ s point of view. Not one reached the 300 mark and probably for the first time in the history of the club not a single Individual century was made. The nearest approach was by Drakeley, the Edlington player, who scored 61.
The Doncaster League side experienced a great season, finishing in the top four of the league. Downing again heads the bowling list, and Whitehouse the batting lint in his first year. _Averages were: –
