Denaby Collieries’ Generosity

Formerly used as the Godfrey Walker Convalescent Home, the Priory, a private house standing in spacious grounds at Conisborough, is being used for home defence work.

One block has been placed at the disposal of the A.R.P. authorities Amalgamated Denaby Collieries, Ltd.

The premises are being converted for use by the rescue and decontamination squads and ambulance drivers and attendants.
