Denaby Danger Spots
Need for More Traffic Warnings.

Following the receipt of a letter from the National Cyclists Union, the Conisborough Urban District Council, on Wednesday, on a Committee recommendation, decided to erect danger signals near the Morley Place, Station Road, and Tickhill Street Schools.

Mr. Berry urged that there was even greater danger on the section of the main road from Balby street to the picture hall. It was only the intervention of providence that prevented a higher death rate from accidents there.

Only recently they had had one fatality on that section.

There should be caution boards erected at the two points he had mentioned. Parents either could not or would not keep their children from playing on the road.

It was left to the Clerk (Mr. H. M. Marshal), to write the West Riding County Council on the matter.
