Denaby Doctor Served Community

In a tribute to the late Dr. John McArthur. Denaby, for a quarter of a century Conisbrough’s Medical Officer, Councillor R.H. Sheppard J.P., Chairman of Conisbrough Urban Council on Wednesday said that Dr. McArthur, one of the ablest men in the district, had served the community very well for 40 years.

The district had suffered a great loss. Dr. McArthur was well liked and respected and one of the greatest sportsmen they had had in the district.
