Denaby Miner Killed.

Yesterday, at the Fullerton Hospital, Denaby, Mr. D. Wightman, Coroner, held an inquest relative  tobthe death of Evan Williams (46), miner, of 64, Clifton Street, who died in the institution on Tuesday from injuries received in the Denaby Mine earlier in the day.

Arthur Windred, who was working with the deceased, said Williams was “holing,” but was only about nine inches underneath. The fall came from over the sprags from the face. The fall hit deceased, and parted.

Arthur Bond, deputy, said the fall had jumped the sprag out. It was a break, a cleavage.

The jury brought in verdict of “Accidental death.”
