Miner Hurt
Lodge Rodgers (53), a miner, of Tickhill Street, Denaby, was detained in Montagu hospital on Wednesday with leg injuries sustained in an accident at Denaby Main Colliery.
Last night his condition was stated to be “fairly comfortable”.
Home Guard
Capt. W. Lilley, Adjt. 43rd west riding Bn. Home Guard took possession of the T. A. Drill Hall, Denaby last week.
It is to become the headquarters of the 43rd transferred from bulb their and an invitation is given to any who are not service Reservists to join.
