At Denaby, before 2,000 spectators.

Denaby straight away showed good form, sweeping along the left. The ball went to Gadsby and he tested Kneeshaw with a fine fast shot. Another attack followed, and then a futile corner fell to Denaby.

Bradford broke away and Wilson scored the defence stood, still appealing for offside. Bradford came again and forced a futile corner. The Bradford forwards showed clever passing, but Denaby improved, and Ball hit the post with a sharp shot. Again Kneeshaw had to save a header, and still pressing Blackburn centred, but Nimrod clean missed the ball.

After much energetic work by Denaby, Dyal equalised.

At half-time the score was one goal each.

The second half opened sensationally, Denaby sweeping down and being awarded penalty. Gadsby took the kick and drove the ball safely home.

Bradford now hotly replied Hancock saved from crowd of players when the goal certain to fall. Give and take play followed and them Norton ran through and equalised with splendid shot.
