Denaby did not reproduce their previous site before when making the long journey to Boston in the future rearrange owing to some misunderstanding of Boston’s part.

Although four goals in arrears Denaby for that with determination, there efforts be rewarded when Betts ran through to score his 11^th league goal.

Then Tunstall made one of his spectacular runs down the wing to score Boston’s fifth goal, just before the end Cotton, who had made many attempts, reduced the deficit.
