Denaby Lose at Castleford.

Castleford Town 3  Denaby United  1

Castleford Town forged further ahead at Denaby United’s expense.

The game was keenly contested, and the home team’s success was the result of the opportunism of Cook and Carroll. Some of the footwork of both sets of forwards was excellent to a degree, and a great feature was the admirable judgment of both half-backs.

Garner and Utley played well for the losers at full-back, whilst Robinson, in the Denaby goal, got through a busy afternoon’s work in good style.

Cook and Carroll scored for Castleford, and Hamilton for Denaby.
