Luck Of The Spin
Denaby Forwards “Off” Day.

Newark Town 2, Denaby United 0

Denaby had to face a strong wind and were kept defending from the kick-off, and Bromage and his backs dealt successfully with many trying situations before Newark took the lead through Short after 29 minutes. The goal was a result of sustained pressure by Newark, Taylor lifting the pass which Short took on the volley and had Bromage well beaten.
