Dog Causes Tragedy.

Denaby Pillion Rider’s Fate at Maltby.

Mr. J. Stokes, Denaby, was riding a motorcycle, with Mr. Alf. Greenhalgh (39) of 74. Blyth Street, Denaby, on the pillion, when they were thrown off attempting to avoid a dog on Saturday night. Mr. Stokes escaped unhurt except for slight bruises, but Mr. Greenhalgh was injured about the head, and died in Doncaster Infirmary shortly after admission.

Mr. Greenhalgh was a member of the Saunders Trio. He had been entertaining in the Maltby district.
