Drunkenness at Denaby

John Headland of Denaby, was fined 5s for having been drunk on the 7th inst.

Police constable Midgeley gave evidence.

John Connelly, and Alexander Needham, colliers, of Denaby, were summoned for having been drunk on the 8th inst.— Police-constable Midgley proved the case.

lnspector Hunt said the defendants had each been before the court on three previous occasions.

A fine of 5s and costs each was imposed.

Swinton Cases

Henry Mann, of Swinton. was summoned for having been drunk at Swinton on the 9th inst.

Police-constable Shuttleworth proved seeing the defendant drunk on the highway.

A fine of 5s. and costs was inflicted.

William Critchley, miner, of Swinton, was fined 10s. and costs for having been drunk at Swinton on the 10th inst.

Police constable Hewitt saw the defendant drunk on the highway.

Defendant had six previous convictions against him.

Drunk at West Melton

George Lowton, of West Melton, was ordered to pay a penalty of 10s. and costs for having been drunk at West Melton on the 9th inst. On four previous occasions defendant had been before the court.

The officer in the case was Police-constable Smith.

Lanett Jackson, of West Melton, was fined 5s. and costs for having been drank at West Melton on the 9th inst. Police-constable Pattison proved the case.
