Feast – Hospital Demonstration – Sunday School Trip

July 1928

Mexborough and Swinton Times July 6, 1928

Another Feast gone. There was the Hospital  demonstration, a report of which will he found elsewhere.

Then there was the Sunday School trip to Cleethorpes, which was a huge success. About 1100 adults and 1400 children made the journey in two special trains. One scholar deserves sympathy, he got up very early and went to the station to await the arrival of his guardian for the day, missed him on the station, and eventually let both trains go. The day was fine and the children had a really enjoyable time.
