Gloops Concert Party.

Happy Gathering of 1,200 at Denaby.

The large hall of Denaby Main School was a home of happiness on Saturday afternoon, when a great gathering attended concert given by the Gloops Family Concert Party.

Hundreds of children and many parents enjoyed the fun, which was of a seasonable nature.

Besides giving pleasure to many, the concert brought proceeds for the Mexborough Montagu Hospital Cot Fund.

The arrangements were carried out smoothly, and many thanks are due to Mr. A. Robinson, secretary, and the staff of the Fullerton Hospital. There were about 1,200 people present, including many adults.

As the children left the hall they received a surprise gift. Thanks are due to the Denaby Main Colliery Co., Ltd., for the loan of the large Hall.
