Private Hackett of 6 Loversall Street, Denaby main, has died of wounds received in action in France.

He was a married man, with five children, and before enlistment worked at the Cadeby colliery.

Mrs Hackett has received from second lieutenant A.Woollen a message of sympathy, in which he says:

“Your husband was a good soldier, and is very much missed by his friends.”
