Honour for Conisbrough Councillor

Councillor David Sheldon, Conisbrough Urban Council chairman last year, was yesterday elected vice-chairman of the West Riding Urban Council Association at the Association’s conference at Bridlington.

Councillor Sheldon, deputy leader of number 18 Divisional Education Executive Labour Group, has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Association some years.

There were two nominations for the position.
