HOSPITAL DEMONSTRATION

A DEMONSTRATION for the benefit of Doncaster Infirmary and Mexborough Cottage Hospital, will be held by the various Friendly Societies, Workmen, etc., of Conisborough and district, on FEAST SUNDAY, JULY 6th. 1891. in the Three Acre Field, near the Board Schools (kindly lent for the occasion), when a grand CONCERT of SACRED MUSIC will be given when over 100 performers will take part under the leadership of Mr. J. Beardsley, Leader of the Band, Mr S Wild.

The various Societies and workmen will meet in the Castle Grounds at 1.30 p.m., and join in their respective sections, as under :

Section No. 1— Conisborough Brass Band. Odd Fellows, Foresters, and Druids Friendly Societies; George Booth and Son’s Workmen ; Nicholson Bros. Workmen ;; Walker and Crawshaw’s Workmen.

Section No. 2 Denaby Main Brass Band ; Denaby Main Workmen; B J. Clarkson’s Workmen; T. Booth’s Workmen.

Section No. 3 — Mexborough and Conisborough Concertina Band; Denaby New Colliery Workmen; Builders other trades, and all Sick and Dividing Societies.

Mr. T. SENIOR will marginal the PROCESSION. The Band and Procession will then proceed to the field via Castle Terrace, Doncaster Road, Holywell Lane, High street:, and Church street.

Chair to be taken at 2.30 p.m. by G. WALKER, J.P. the Priory.

Short ADDRESSES are expected to be given by the following gentlemen :—Rev. J. G. Wood, C Kilner, Esq., Dr. McCall, and the following gentlemen have promised their patronage : Messrs.o Nicholson, F. Ogley, T. Booth. G. Booth. B. J. Clarkson, and others.

Admission to the Field 3d. ; Enclosure 3d. extra. No change given.

Programs of Music 1d. each, may be had of any of the Committee, or on the day of the Demonstration. The proceeds to be equally divided between the two Hospitals. The Committee invite all working men to take part in the procession. Each section are at liberty to use their own Regalias.
