Independent Gain at Conisborough
An Independent gain was achieved in the East ward by-election of Conisborough Urban Council on Saturday, when the poll was declared as follows:
Mr. Frank Kelsall (Ind.), 375;
Mrs. Mary Jane Wright (Lab.), 236.
The seat previously had been held by Mr. J. Leatherland (Workers* candidate), who resigned owing to ill-health.
