Of Marr Street, Denaby main, who at the beginning of September last, joined the Scout section, Drake Battalion, Y.M.C.A.
In company with his father, who enlisted the same day, he went to Pontefract, and from thence to Scotland, and finally to Blandford, in Dorsetshire, afterwards setting sail for the Dardanelles on the “Franconia.”
The mother has since volunteered for war service for women, andis eagerly awaiting her papers.
