Private Clifford Leslie Knight,
Machine Gun Corps


Private Clifford Leslie Knight, Mile End Villas, Doncaster road, Conisbrough, was killed in action in France on October 7.

He was 20 years of age, was educated at the Staveley grammar school, and before enlistment last November was an assistant master at the Staveley Council school.

His mother is on the teaching staff of the Station Road school Conisbrough. A brother Norman is serving
