Mexborough Secondary School ” Speech Day,” at which the speaker will be Lord Burnham, is to he held on Thursday, March 3rd.

Mrs. Harry Baker, of Brookfield House, Swinton, president of the Rother Valley Women’s Conservative Association, died on Tuesday.

Mr. Fred Denham, of Mexboro’, a pigeon breeder with a national reputation, died suddenly in the Mexboro’ cemetery on Sunday afternoon while attending the funeral of a friend.
