Masses for Denaby Canon
Two Foundation Masses were offered at St. Alban’s Catholic Church, Denaby, yesterday. for Canon C. Leteux, the much-beloved parish priest of Denaby and Wakefield parishes, who was known as ” The Lion of the West Riding.”
The Masses, which were attended adult parishioners and scholars from St. Alban’s Schools, are the perpetual memorial of Denaby parishioners to Canon Leteux, and are offered each year on the anniversary of his death.
