Denaby gave a poor batting display and were well beaten by Mexborough.
In the Denaby innings Pullen top scored with 6 and seven of their men failed to score. Beresford was excellent with 8 victims for Mexborough, and Denaby were bowled out for the low score of 15.
Bennett scored 24 and Lewis, 28 for Mexborough who scored in total 101. Beardsley had three wickets and Gregory three wickets for Denaby.
