Lewis Brown, a Thurnscoe miner, was fined 12s. at Doncaster on Tuesday for being drunk and disorderly at Thurnscoe on July 6. P.c. France gave evidence.

For being drunk and disorderly in Mexboro’ High Street on July 5, John Lenton, a Mexboro’ miner, was fined £2 at Doncaster on Tuesday.

Sydney Peplow, a miner, of Swinton, was fined 25s. at Doncaster, on Tuesday, for being drunk and disorderly on Saturday, July 6

William Henry Green, a Denaby miner, was fined 12s. at Doncaster on Tuesday for using obscene language at 11.30 p.m. on July 6. in the Conisboro’ Feast Ground.

Robert Henry Boon, a Denaby miner, was fined 25s. at Doncaster on Tuesday for using violent and abusive language at Denaby on July 7.

John Rigby, a Conisboro’ miner, was fined 1,2s. at Doncaster on Tuesday for keeping a dog without a licence.

Lilian Barber, married,    of Conisboro’, was fined 12s. at Doncaster on Tuesday for keeping a dog without a licence.

For allowing his dog to be at large at night on July 6, James Graham, foreman, of Swinton, was fined 15s .at Doncaster on Tuesday

Oliver Birch miner, of Conisboro’. was committed at Doncaster on Tuesday for a month, the order to be suspended as long as he pays 6s per week in respect of affiliation arrears amounting to £4 7s. 6d.

Gorge Ashton, a Denaby miner, was summoned at Doncaster on Tuesday in respect of maintenance arrears due to his wife, amounting to £38 15s. 6d. Defendant stated that his right arm was paralysed and he could not work. He had 10s, per week sick benefit and his sister kept him. The Bench made an order for the payment of £1 a week.

William Green, a Thurnscoe miner, and Donald Smith, a Denaby miner, were summoned at Doncaster on Tuesday for using obscene language in Station Road, Conisboro’, on July 1. It was stated that Smith had a bad record and that Green had 11 previous convictions, and they were fined £3 each. One of the defendants asked for time to pay, and was told by the Chairman, “You have money to spare it seems?’ They were have allowed seven days.

Leonard Kay, a  Conisboro’ miner, was summoned at Doncaster on Tuesday for using violent and abusive language in Conisborough at 11 Pam. on July 7, and denied the offence There were four previous convictions against defendant, who was fined 9s.
