Montagu Cup Final
Though it does not always do for a team to count chickens before they are hatched, the Denaby committee may no. look upon the Montagu Cup as now, practically safe.
By beating Goldthorpe on Saturday, Newhill have qualified for the final, and they have to meet Denaby at Mexboro’, some time in March.
I believe they will give Denaby a good game, but I cannot as yet fancy them as the cup winners.
