More Trouble at Denaby Main

Trouble recurred among the haulage hands at Denaby Main Colliery yesterday, when the pit resumed after the Bank Holiday.

Summonses have been issued by the colliery company against a number of haulage hands for alleged breach contract, consequent upon the recent stoppage.

As a protest against this action haulage hands on both morning and afternoon shifts, refused to descend the pit, with the result about 1,200 men arc thrown idle.
