National Kitchen for Denaby

The Doncaster Rural District Council today authorised a special committee to enter into agreement with the Denahy and Cadeby Collieries. Ltd., for the acquisition of a large room adjoining the Denaby Main Hotel, and to the necessary alterations,  etc., thereto for its adaptation as a national kitchen. The Clerk said the committee had inspected this room, which very suitable for the purpose, having entry and egress apart from the hotel.

It was stated that other kitchens would opened as required, at Edlington. Rossington and Askern, other populous places in the district.
