A Noise Annoys
No Burglar Worries at Denaby

Mr and Mrs Harry Walker of 101, Annerley Street Denaby Main, have no worries about “brek-ins.”

Their dog and budgerigar make such a noise that no burglar would get very far in their house.

When Mr and Mrs Walker come down stairs in a morning the noise starts. As soon as the cover is taken off the budgie’s cage the bird starts “talking” and the dog answers it with vigorous barking for the budgerigar is far from “complimentary.”

“We are very proud of the two of them,” Mrs Walker said, “and we have no fear of burglars as we should soon wake up when the dog and bird started.

“We have occasionally been awakened in the night when they have heard someone prowling about outside,” Mr Walker said.
