Denaby Miners Await His Return

Denaby miners are anticipating tbe impending visit of an old workmate, Mr. Charles Hancock, who left Denaby, where he was a mlneworker 18 years ago, and Is now a prosperous business man and magistrate in Australia.

Mr. Hancock, who left South Yorkshire as a poor emigrant, is making a world tour to study motor transport and road conditions.

At present he is in Germany. Later he will visit Switzerland and Belgium.

During the course of a tour round the British Isles before returning home by way of America, he will call at Denaby to renew acquaintance with some of his old pit friends.

Hancock has several sisters living In Denaby.
