Pantomime Ball

Novelty at Denaby

Robin Hood, Maid Marion and Friar Tuck will “take their partners” at Denaby Baths Hall on March 31st. Tunic-dad bowmen- will mingle with the crowds of Saturday night dancers, and thrown in for good measure will be the Babes in the Wood.

These members of Kihiburst Amateur Theatrical Society are appearing at Denaby Baths Hall for five performances of the pantomime “Babes in the Wood,” which had a week’s successful, run at, Mexborough in January. The repeat performance opens on, Easter Tuesday, and instead of a Saturday night performance, which would interfere with the weekly municipal dance, the two events axe to be co-ordinated to make a Pantomime Ball.”

The pantomime is being presented at Denaby at the request of hundreds of local people unable to obtain seats at the Mexborough production. The cast is unchanged.
