Mexborough.

A 17-year-old Mexborough labourer, AIbert Lawrence, was ordered to pay 4s. costs at Doncaster on Saturday for indecent conduct.

Conisborough

Four men from the Conisborough area were summoned at Doncaster on Saturday for neglecting to send their children to school. Joseph Lowe and George Beasley, of Conisborough, were fined 5s. and 7s. 6d. respectively, and Herbert Nettleship and Frank Floy, of Denaby, were fined 10s. and 5s. respectively.

Denaby Main.

Failing to obscure a light in roofed building during the hours of darkness cost Amelia Scott (58), married, Denaby Main, 10s. at Doncaster on Saturday.

Thurnscoe.

Robert Pinches (28), miner, Thurnscoe, was fined £3 at Doncaster on Saturday for failing to obscure lights in a roofed building during the hours of darkness.

Bolton-on-Dearne.

At Doncaster on Saturday. James Chaplin (35), motor driver. Bolton-on-Dearne, was fined a total of 30s for falling to immobilise a motor lorry during the hours of darkness and for causing a light in excess of seven watts to be displayed on a stationary vehicle.

Wath.

An 18-year – old Wath haulage hand, John Pearson, was fined 20s, at Doncaster West Riding Police Court on Saturday for indecent conduct
