Rainbow Bridge Accident

Having fallen 25 feet from the Rainbow Bridge, Conisborough, a week ago, when a gang of men were engaged in renewing a portion of the structures. Frank Smith (39), labourer, of 75, Fawcett Street, Sheffield, died at Doncaster Infirmary yesterday.

Free Gift Helps Sheffield Widow.

A widow’s gratitude to the proprietors of the “Sheffield Daily Telegraph” for timely help received under the newspaper’s free insurance scheme has been expressed in letter from Mrs. Smith, of 7 court 5 house, Fawcett Street, St. Philip’s Road, Sheffield. Mrs. Smith has been handed a cheque for £100; her husband was unfortunately killed from a fall while working on the L. and N.E. Railway bridge, Conisborough.
