Probable Resignation Of The Rev. R. P. Roseveare Of Denaby Main.

The residents of Denaby Main will regret to hear that there is a strong probability of the Rev. R. P. Roseveare resigning his curacy, at no distant date.

The rev. gentleman, we have authority for stating, has been offered the living of Great Snoring-cum-Thursford, in in Norfolk, the patrons of which are the Master and Fellows of St. John’s College, Cambridge, of which College Mr. Roseveare is a member.

‘Crockfird’ gives the value of the living as large, but its net value is nothing like the amount there stated, and its value to Mr. Roseveare is not likely to be much in excess of his present curacy.

The living has been rendered vacant by the death, in May last, of the Rev. G. F. Marsh, who was for some time resident in Doncaster. Mr. Roseveare will be greatly missed in Denaby, but his present parishioners will unite in wishing him success in his new sphere of labour.
