Inquiry Into Sheffield Man’s Death.

The fatality in the fog on Monday morning, when Graham Robinson (22), machine hand, of 90, Mansfield Road, Intake, Sheffield, was killed near Butterbusk Farm, Conisborough, was the subject of inquiry held Mr. F. Allen, District Coroner, with jury, at the Star Hotel, Conisborough, yesterday afternoon.

Robinson was riding a motor cycle from Sheffield to his work Doncaster when met his death.

Robert Charles Dawes, of Hope Street. Wombwell said he was driving a bus from Doncaster to Conisborough. When coming the hill near Butterbusk Farm, saw a man sliding down the middle of road on his back with a motor-cycle in front of him on its side. Witness swerved to the side and applied the brakes, but the road was in such bad condition that he skidded ten yards and the bus collided with the machine.

No part of the bus went over deceased, and when the bus was brought to standstill the front wheel was on deceased’s coat.

John Leslie Mason, a passenger, of Doncaster, raid the first thing knew of accident was a bump. It appeared as if the bus had run over motor-cycle, but the bus was clear of the body.

The jury a verdict of Accidental death,” and no blame to anybody.
