Rotherham Church Institute v Denaby Parish Church
A Player’s Leg Broken.
A match took place yesterday afternoon between Rotherham Church Institute and Denaby Parish Church teams on the ground of the first mentioned club, at Masbro.
The contest was a replayed tie in the Rotherham Charity Cup competition. Early in the game Joseph Hilton, left full bark for the visitors collided against Martin Thornton, of the Institute players and fell heavily.
Hilton sustained a fracture of the left leg. First aid was rendered by R. G. Gibson, and the injured youth was removed to the Hospital.
