Sequel to the Denaby Romance.

George M. Alpine, deputy, Denaby, was summoned for doing wilful damage to the door of a house belonging to George L. Robinson, builder,of Tickhill street, Denaby

Defendant pleaded guilty, under provocation.

Mr. W. Raddiley, who prosecuted, explained that there had been litigation recently, but that had nothing to do with this Mr. Robinson; it was his brother.

On Oct. 20th the defendant went to Robinson’s house, and knocked at the door , and became abusive and smashed the glass in the door with a stick. The lead was also damaged. If defendant would undertake not to go to the house again they would be content with the costs.

George L. Robinson said the window in the door, and the lead were damaged to the amount of 2s.

Defendant said something about a telegram from Wakefield which was sent to him, and he never received it. In consequence he had to travel to Wakefield, and it cost him £3, and he was angry about,it. This

Defendant was ordered to pay £1 2s. 6d. costs, and 2s. damage
