Private Henry Smith

Private Henry Smith,  7 Maltby Street, Denaby Main, is a reservist in the Royal Scots Fusiliers, and was called upon August 5 and sent on active service on August 12.

He was wounded and captured by the Germans on August 23rd, and is now a prisoner at Gustrow.

In a letter to his wife. He says he was wounded in the foot, but he is now quite all right. They are being treated very well, but he will be glad to get back home.
