With the Marines
Serving with the Royal Marines in the Middle East is Albert Barron (21), son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Joseph Barron, of 5, Hallgate, Mexborough. He joined up last September.
Before joining up he was a member of the staff of Denaby and Cadeby Colliery. He was a member of the Parish Church choir for several years and also belonged to Conisborough Cycling Club. His letters home intimate that he is fit, happy and enjoying life.
He receives the “South Yorkshire Times” each week.
