Wounded

Private William Burns, 1st West Yorks, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J.E. Burns of 9 Braithwell Street, has been wounded, near Ypres’s, and is now in hospital at Boulogne. Burns is only 17 years of age, and has been in the firing line 8 months

His elder brother, Edwin, is lying in hospital at Alexandria, suffering from enteric fever.
