Sgt Alfred Quarmby (27), Cold stream Guard, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. H. Quarmby of 17 Highfield Road, Conisbrough is now serving Belgium and has been awarded the commander in chief certificate for good service.
He formerly worked at Messrs Baker and Bessemer’s Kilnhurst.
