Missing
Driver Cyril Sales, of 43, Athelstane Road, Conisborough, has been reported missing in the Middle East since April 28th 1941.
He has been in the Forces for 19 month, and had only been in the Middle East a short time before he was missing. He has a wife, but no children.
He was a well-known member of the Parish Church and a useful cricket player.
He worked at Cawthorne before he was called up.
