Private Herbert Tyas, Doncaster road, Conisboro’,. arrived home on Monday December 2nd. He was 5 months in hospital in Limburg, and served two months in the camp as a prisoner of war. He was wounded near Baupaume and again at Arras in May, 1917.

Whilst stretcher bearing for English prisoners in Limburg camp he broke his leg.  He was moderately well treated by the Germans and liberated on November 15th.

He formerly worked at Walker and Crawshaw’s, and is 35 years of age.
