Walter Ardron, Rotherham United’s centre-forward, is hitting the headlines again and interesting more than one big club. Rotherham’s only goal, which took full points from Accrington last night, was scored in the 83rd minute by this player.
Last season, Ardron’s goalscoring achievements played a big part Rotherham’s fine bid for promotion. In 40 League matches he found the net 38 times, only Jordan, of Doncaster, getting more goals in any of the four leagues. So far Rotherham have resisted all offers for Ardron, but should he be transferred an interested club will be Denaby United.
When Ardron joined Rotherham from Denaby part of the agreement was that he should be transferred again Denaby would get a share of the transfer fee.
