Tom Hill Youth Centre
Win Three, Score 36 to 5.

Last Saturday Denaby Tom Hill Youth Centre’s three football teams won their league fixtures with an aggregate of 36 goals to 5.

In the Mexborough Association fixture v George and Dragon Utd. (away) they won 6-4.

The Mexborough Intermediate fixture v Bakers (home) saw the Youth Centre’s 100 per cent record maintained. The game never appeared to be so one-sided as the score suggest, as the Baker’s lads never gave up trying, but the Youth Centre attacked consistently and took many of the chances which fell to them. Scorers were M. KNAGGS (7, bringing his total in the last four games to 18), G. SWANN (4), and W. ALLOTT.

In the Doncaster Boys’ football league the club still have a 100 percent record and the return fixture saw 7th Doncaster Boys’ Brigade overwhelmed by 18 goals to nil. The smaller Boys’ Brigade team stuck to their job manfully, but the Youth Centre scored almost at will.
